PENTATHLON MEET

The Pentathlon is a meet specifically for advanced swimmers who can swim all strokes legally compete in this swim meet version. Swimmers must swim all five events for times that will be totalled together for an overall time and then scored accordingly.

Rosettes will be awarded to the overall fastest 10 swimmers in their age and gender
groups. Ribbons will be awarded to the top 10 swimmers for individual events as well.

EVENT INFORMATION

Former Nigeria Tobacco Company (NTC), Iyaganku, Ibadan.
This is where it all starts, to encourage beginner swimmers. Some of the kids here in the Splash Meet are still in lessons, some has move on to pre-team, for most of them this is there first ever swim meet.
We run older swimmers clinic/practice in the morning. Then older swimmers help younger kids with clinic in the afternoon. Then end the day or run a meet the next day with a meet while they are on different teams. Its include relays with other swimmers. Relays could be mixed up strokes or include swimmers from each age group. It's always fun and lovely experience.
Ribbons and gifts will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position swimmers in each of their event.
Keep entire team be together Help parents and new swimmer learn the ropes of a first meet. Help parents learn where to volunteer.
