Welcome to the Waterskills Developmental Splash Meet!

At Waterskills we are excited to announce our upcoming event that will showcase the incredible talents and skills of swimmers. The Waterskills Developmental Splash Meet is a celebration of the amazing progress being made in swimming development programs throughout the term.

Our event is designed to give beginner swimmers the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of a supportive and enthusiastic audience. We believe that by providing a platform for these beginner swimmers to shine, we can help inspire the next generation of Nigeria swimming champions.

EVENT INFORMATION

July/August
Former Nigeria Tobacco Company (NTC), Iyaganku, Ibadan.
This Meet is only between Waterskills swimmers. The Splash Meet is a fun event that includes kickboard or silly races along with all regularly incorporated events for 10 & Under and 25m for 11 & above. This is where it all starts, to encourage beginner swimmers. Some of the kids here in the Splash Meet are still in lessons, some has move on to pre-team, for most of them this is there first ever swim meet. It’s a good practice meet for beginning swimmers and are held to build team spirit, good-fellowship, and to introduce beginner swimmers to competition.
Ribbons and gifts will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position swimmers in each of their event.
Keep entire team be together. Help parents and new swimmer learn the ropes of a first meet. Help parents learn where to volunteer.
