DESCRIPTION
This class focuses on the most important, fundamental aspects of swimming such as going under water, developing a streamline body position, kicking, floating, and getting back to the wall after jumping in the pool. While practicing these swimming skills children will continue to strengthen their core muscles and develop gross motor skills. The movements involved in swimming also promote sensory integration.
Far too many young children drown because they have not been exposed to the water and they don’t know either the dangers it poses, or how to react if they fall into a pool. Our instructors will motivate your child in a fun and exciting way so he or she can learn to swim as young as possible, and enjoy the water safely and confidently.
