Water Skills Pool Cleaning Service
RESIDENTIAL POOL SERVICE
Welcome to Water Skills, the experts in safe and effective residential swimming pool chemical services. Since we opened our doors in 2018, we’ve offered quality pool servicing in South West Nigeria.
WHY DO I NEED MY POOL SERVICED?
Proper pool maintenance is essential to prolong the life of your swimming pool. From keeping your pool chemicals balanced to cleaning your pool filter, our pool service specialists will work year-round to keep your pool in great condition. You won’t need goggles after jumping in a pool we’ve managed.
Some people associate the smell of chlorine and eye irritation with too much chlorine in the water. However, generally, the opposite is true and super chlorination is a requirement to keep your pool clean and safe to swim in.
Your pool should be a fun and a safe oasis for your friends and loved ones to enjoy, not a harbour for bacteria and other harmful organisms. We offer a variety of service plans to choose from so you can make sure your pool remains in great shape year-round.
Our standard pool services include weekly chemical and water balancing, but if additional services are needed, we can customise a plan for you. We offer our customers several convenient service options, which can all be found on our pool service pricing page.
Please take a moment to go through our PDF file to learn more about our company and how we can show you the Water Skills difference. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact us.

RESIDENTIAL CHEMICAL SERVICES FOR CHLORINATED POOLS
CAN YOU AFFORD NOT TO USE OUR SERVICES?
Water Skills provides the best available water chemistry service for algae and bacteria control. We also balance the water within the generally accepted swimming pool industry standards. With our basic chemical service, we do not empty the baskets, clean the filters or clean the pool, however, those services are available. See our “Services and Rates” or call our office for additional pricing. With a quality pool sweep and proper chlorination, you will find that a very minimal effort will be needed on your end, in most cases.
SCHEDULED WEEKLY POOL VISITS
Water Skills will visit your pool once a week on the same day of each week. The only exception to this scheduling is during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years which is the time our employees take off for vacation. During that time, we take all necessary precautions in the prior weeks to insure that your pool water chemistry remains balanced throughout those holidays.
FREE SERVICE WHEN YOU REFER A FRIEND
We offer a Referral Program which will extend to you one month’s free chemical service if you recommend us to a friend or family member who uses our service for at least three (3) months. Be sure your friend tells us that you sent them.

CHLORINE… ITS PURPOSE AND APPLICATION
Disinfection is the most important single factor in maintaining a swimming pool, which is safe and healthy. Chlorine is the most widely applied disinfecting agent and used by Water Skills for the disinfection of your residential swimming pool water.
ALGAE… IT’S TYPES AND APPEARANCE
Algae are very tiny plants that grow in untreated water. The air contains millions of algae spores that either settles into the water or is carried in during rainstorms or by fill water. Once present in water they may be recognised initially, by the formation of slime on the sides and floor of the pool developing into a general cloudiness in the body of the water. In the advanced stages of growth, they take on a green colour and, if allowed to progress further, will take on a brownish colour. Intense sunlight is very conducive to algae growth by causing increased water temperatures and more rapid loss of residual chlorine.
